Heart Soul & Art Juried Show is open to all artists, beginners and advanced. We look forward to seeing fresh subjects, and various mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolor, photography, pastels, collage, mixed media, digital art, mono prints, pen & ink, and etchings.

ART SHOW JUDGE

Sharron Ragan

Sharron Ragan is the Owner of Heart Soul and Art and a seasoned artist. She studied fine art in college, focusing on watercolor and sculpture. Sharron continued a creative career in advertising and marketing for over two decades. As a former President of the Atlanta Artists Center she has judged numerous art shows in the Atlanta area and also teaches intuitive painting classes and retreats.

ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT SELECTION:

November 1, 2023 (if accepted you will receive an email from Brooklyn, our Creative Director)
ARTWORK DROP-OFF:

November 5-6, 2023 (Sunday & Monday 1-5PM)
ARTWORK PICK-UP AFTER SHOW:

December 3-4, 2023 (Sunday & Monday from 1-5PM)

EXHIBIT GUIDELINES:

Size limit is no larger than 36” on any side and a weight limit of 25 pounds
All artwork must be properly wired to hang- NO SAW TOOTH HANGERS
Mediums – oils, acrylics, watercolor, photography, pastels, collage, mixed media, digital art, mono prints, pin & ink, and etchings
Fee must be paid at time of Digital Submission
Work must be original. (Fine art Giclée’s and Print editions are NOT ELIGIBLE.)
All artwork MUST BE FOR SALE. In the event of the sale of your work, the Artist retains 75%. We will NOT accept any artwork that is not for sale.
Heart Soul & Art has the authority to define what constitutes as an acceptable entry
Any substandard presentation may be disqualified upon receipt

ELIGIBLE:

Framed digital art prints on various paper

Framed photography prints on various paper

Photography prints wrapped on at least 1” thick canvas

Gallery wrap canvases over 1” thick

Framed canvases under 1” thick 3D art that CAN be hung on the wall

NOT ELIGIBLE:

No WET oil paintings will be accepted

No fine art Giclée’s and print editions

No 3D art that can NOT be hung on the wall

No sculptures or poetry

No crafts items No artwork that is NOT for sale

No unframed canvases under 1” thick No unframed prints

ENTRY FEE:

$45 total for 1-3 PIECES

Entry Requirements

1. Once your Fee is paid on our website, please see link to Jotform submission webpage .

2. Submit one photo per artwork upload section and fill in its corresponding information including a description.

ACCEPTED WORK:

- 45-50 works will be selected and hung
- List of accepted works will be emailed to submitting artists on November 1, 2023
- Please do not call the shop to see if your work has been accepted

- Due to the number of submissions, we can only accept a certain amount of artwork so submission does NOT guarantee acceptance

DROP-OFF REQUIREMENTS

- All artwork must have a label on the back side of the framed works to include the following: Artist's Name; Phone; Email; Title of Work; Year of Creation; Medium; and Price
- All artwork must be properly WIRED TO HANG. No sawtooth hangers will be accepted.
- ANY WORKS THAT DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS must be taken back at time of DROP-OFF

LIABILITY:

- Submission fees are nonrefundable.
- All works submitted are the artist’s own responsibility; and not insured or covered by Heart Soul & Art LLC.
- All accepted artworks will be handled with professional care; however, neither staff nor owner can be responsible for any loss or damage.
- Please note that the gallery area will be used at other times for small classes and special events.
- Heart Soul & Art LLC is NOT responsible for works not picked up at the designated time after the show.
- Any artworks not picked up within 14-days of notification may become the property of Heart Soul & Art LLC
- Artist agrees that by entering this competition that the works chosen for the show may be used in Heart Soul & Art LLC, social media, publicity and all marketing
